Sovled: New drives not showing up correctly

I just added a couple of drives to my server (precleared the drives, did the shutdown, install drives, bring server up, stop array, add drives, start array).  However my available space didn't change (still shows the same percentage used).  Since a couple of drives are pretty high on usage (95+%), I was going to manually copy some of the files between disk shares.  However, the disk shares don't exist for the 2 new drives when I'm looking on the server in putty.  Should I just create the drive shares manually, or did something go wrong so that the new drives don't show up?

    Just realized that I forgot the format step.  That fixed the issue, drives now showing up correctly
