If you need to connect more SATA drives than your PSU has connectors for, you can get some Molex to SATA adapters

thanks for your help

But if i use the hot swappable cage i will need the molex connectors right?

It depends on which backplane you want.  Some use SATA, some use Molex.  You need to research and check the specs on your particular backplane module.  In my case, I have the Athena backplane 4in3 modules.  They use SATA connections but only need 2 SATA power cables to each module (4 drives).  My Corsair 650W PSU has 2 strings of SATA connectors with 4 plugs eachon each string, so I'm only using one of those strings to power both modules.    So 4 SATA power connectors are running 8 drives.

thanks for your help guys.

Wait till a PC Power and Cooling 500 W is on sale - they are single rail, good quality, run quite softly, and occasionally are substantially discounted on Newegg.

Zithras

update: here's one for $70 + free shipping - a bit expensive, but it's good quality supply
