March 23, 201610 yr Hi Can someone please test the following on 6.2 beta19? I'm not sure if it's a change in my network environment or the beta that introduced the following problem... 1.) Create a SAMBA network share or use one that already exists. 2.) Open windows explorer and browse to that share. 3.) Start an internet download and save it to the share you created. 4.) Go back to the explorer window you had opened with the share. 5.) Does the download appear? If yes, it's me. If no, hit F5 and check if it now appears. For me copying files to the share using explorer does not have an issue, the explorer window refreshes OK. It's only when a file is place in the share using some other app like chrome, IDM etc that the auto refresh doesn't happen. I tried this on a laptop and VM (both Windows 10) and same results.
March 23, 201610 yr I tried this test, but I used total commander and terra copy to copy to a share. I had a separate explorer window opened. The Explorer windows did not refresh automatically. If I copied from and explorer window to another explorer window (not the one I am viewing to see if refresh happens) then the window refreshes.

Anyone else care to try?
March 24, 201610 yr I do not know enough about SAMBA to say, but I read where mounting iso and creating virtual disks were problems across the network so I am interested in this issue.
March 24, 201610 yr ive had that issue for a while since 6.0-6.1.x both mac and windows fail to refresh. their directory easy to refresh on windows not so easy on mac though
March 24, 201610 yr I usually have to disconnect from the shares on my mac to have any refresh happen after i initially connect. this started for me on 6.2 b19
March 24, 201610 yr Yep, same here on Mac.. Found if I close the window or folder and reopen that usually works to refresh.
