HP DL585 G6 - SAS not detected.

Hello. I know there are a lot of questions about this but im still having issues.

 

I have a HP proliant DL585 G6 that im using for a Project and wanted to use unRAID to set up some virtual machines.

I currently have 5 SAS drives connected to the PCI SAS Controller (standard). 3 are for another project and the other 2 i want to add to unRAID.

The problem is they dont show up. I have very limited configurations in the ROM but have set up both drives to be single Logical Volumes.

 

unRAID does list the SAS controller as a PCI device when booted (using lspci)

SAS = HP Smart Array P410/256 2-ports Int PCIe x8 SAS Controller

 

Not sure what else to try. Please note, there is a SAS backplane and absolutely no space to add any non standard SAS drivers without using that backplane.
