Yes, that's what I did.

For me it's working, but speeds fluctuate a lot - sometimes stops altogether, then back up to normal. I'm using Sweden.

So, I'm not sure if I have done something (I don't recall changing anything)  but I'm not seeing the Strict Port Forwarding Option in my docker settings?  So I'm only able to open the webgui if I disable the vpn which is not what I really want to do.  What am I missing?

Don't know, do a CTRL-F on "Container Variable: STRICT_PORT_FORWARD". If it isn't there I have no idea.

You can always add the variable manually. The option to add variables, ports, etc. is at the bottom of the settings screen.

Thanks, that probably would have been easier.  I just deleted and re-pulled the docker and it showed up.  Thanks!

de-berlin endpoint is currently working.

And now this endpoint has stopped completely for me.

I have been runnning this container for quite some time and it has worked great. I recently migrated to a new router (pfsense) and seem to now have an issue using a VPN. The container will not run using a VPN but will run fine without it.

I am not sure if its an issue with the router but I am suspect. Anyway, I am looking for some advice to hopefully fix this.

When I enable the VPN, I see this in the logs:

seems like toronto is still down

Is there a way I can force it to use a different server?

I am trying to setup multiple watch folders. With my current settings, movie and documentary torrents seem to be picked up properly and saved to the right location.

However my TV Show torrents are not being picked up at all. At first I thought I needed an escape character for the space inside "Tv Shows" (eg d.set_directory=/data/Tv\ Shows). However, that did not seem to work.

Here are my current watch settings:

schedule2 = tied_directory,10,10,start_tied=

schedule2 = untied_directory,10,10,close_untied=

schedule2 = watch_directory_1,11,10,"load_start=/data/ToFetch_rtorrent/movies/*.torrent,d.set_directory=/data/Movies"

schedule2 = watch_directory_2,11,10,"load_start=/data/ToFetch_rtorrent/tv_shows/*.torrent,d.set_directory=/data/Tv Shows"

schedule2 = watch_directory_3,11,10,"load_start=/data/ToFetch_rtorrent/documentaries/*.torrent,d.set_directory=/data/Documentaries

Any help would be super appreciated, thanks!

I still cannot connect to the webUI regardless of whether strict port forwarding is enabled or disabled. I would love if someone had some help. The docker worked fine prior to enabling PIA.

Removed the log for now so this post isn't gigantic

Apparently the Web UI now loads...

My docker container has not been able to start since last night, I keep getting this on a loop: https://pastebin.com/CV1Ub2aE

This happened without me changing any settings.

I've tried switching to other PIA servers, but it continues to fail with that same error. I'm not sure if I should be able to access 'http://209.222.18.222:2000' from my end when not using PIA, but that page also fails to load.

Any ideas?

I moved the "data" mapping in the docker settings.

I changed it from "/mnt/user/Media/Downloads" to "/mnt/user/Media/". Which obviously broke all of my file mappings for the torrents. So i then clicked on them, hit "save to" and set the original folder the files got saved to. Then hit "force recheck", but it didn't recognize any of the files. I can still see them in my file system, but once I moved the data, it corrupted those files and I can no longer play them, until I redownload the entire thing.

A similar thing happened when I first switched from Deluge to r-torrent and tried to import all of my old torrents from that program.

Just following up on this. I think the issue happened because i left "move torrent data" checked when I pointed the torrent to where the data was saved. Even though nothing had been downloaded yet. After getting the VPN working, the torrent list was empty, and i've begun repopulating it again, and am having success at pointing the torrents to the data with this option unchecked.

Where does rtorrent move the torrent files to? When I add them manually they remain in my torrents folder, but if I have the auto watch set up they disappear once they are added.

I ran into this same issue, it looks like the VPN server I was using (CA Vancouver) either removed support for port forwarding or is just down or gone. I swapped out to Spain and everything was fine. If you check the output of the docker logs it will list all the servers that support port forwarding and it appears to be a real time check so if your server ever comes back it should show up in the list.

Yep, you're right. I just found this from a PIA team member - https://www.privateinternetaccess.com/forum/discussion/38301/port-forwarding-from-pia-canada-servers-down

It's interesting that they said "Now, you can use the port forwarding feature from most of our servers," but I've tried a few and none seem to work (at least with this docker container). However, I tried one in the list from the container log like you said, and it worked right away. Thanks!

Does Docker support a range of ports now? Or is it still just individuals.

This is my first working docker for unraid (seems to be at least) since I'm new to this and I was wondering if there are some common things for newbies to change? And is it ok if I just post my entire log on here to check if its running right? I left the host path as default...I was wondering how the host path relates to the container path? I'd like to save torrents to a share I made...and eventually get them moved automatically to the right spot would be nice but I can figure that out over time.

I'll put in some parts of the log at least...

Hi I have an issue when deploying this container.  When deployed using the bridge interface all works and the web ui is accessible.  If i use a custom bridge interface and specify a manual ip the container runs and functions as expected (privoxy works, downloads added via other sources work when in the console curl ifconfig.io returns the address of the VPN server i am connecting to).  However when using a custom bridge interface to allow the container to use its own address the web ui cannot be accessed either from within unraid or directly via http://[containerIP]:9080.  Should this container support the use of custom IP address on a container for accessing the web ui?

It says AUTH_FAILED but I am 100% sure the credentials are correct.

Are you also 100% sure that your subscription is active and that you're within the device limit?
