March 26, 201610 yr unRAID OS Version: 6.2B19 (and probably all versions to the beginning of time) Description: Currently there is no error checking at all on entering in IP addresses within the network settings. Dynamix even allows alphabetical characters without returning an error Other information: Should only allow numbers, all 4 octets should be present, and basic checking should be performed. A line is logged into the syslog, but dynamix should also pop up with something, because with invalid entries, the system will basically lose internet access if those entries are with regards to the DNS Depending upon your viewpoint, this is either a defect or a feature request. I'd call it a defect.
