i dont know if in ddbridge.conf is some switch to disable this :/

UPDATE:

OK im suppose this commit are not includec into official DD github source of driver

https://linuxtv.org/hg/%7Eendriss/media_build_experimental/rev/66c6e6cc0e1b

please download and try apply on driver - if pass without error - that mean this missing. THX

Looking at that link, they commented out a line which isn't in the Digital Devices Github file anyway....  So I don't think that's the problem.

Looking into this a bit more I found this page.

Unfortunately I don't speak German....

Can you translate what's being said?

If you need to edit ddbridge.conf then you can, it's located in /boot/config/plugins/UnraidDVB/

google translate is your friend, my friend...  I get the syslog behaves like a washerwoman  (Must be some techno-babble that I'm not aware of)

Yeah, I realised that after I posted.

@piotrasd

Like I said the patch you posted is already applied to the github build.

But I applied the .diff from here.

Here's my github changes.

Have uploaded a new build with these changes.  Please test.  If it works I'll make a PR to their (rather quiet) repo.  Could you report the issue to Digital Devices please?

Digital Devices users, whilst I don't mind producing these builds I don't want to become responsible for patching their drivers.  If you find an issue with the drivers then please please report it to them.  There will be a limit to how far I can take this and once that limit is reached the Digital Devices builds may have to be dropped....

Please remember I can't test these drivers myself so I'm relying on you guys to push Digital Devices to improve their drivers.

So what does washerwoman mean?

It may be that the symlinked file isn't in place early enough in the boot sequence.

I'll wait for some more people to test and if necessary pop ddbridge.conf back in the image.

Can you try a modprobe ddbridge and see if that works with different msi settings?

Hi @CHBMB could you make testing build based on OpenSource driver from TBS ?? from here https://github.com/ljalves/linux_media

many times orginal driver make some issue woth tvheadend, that why that opensource driver are created.

I want test if really working better, THX

Sorry, but I'm not creating any more builds for TBS unless I see a few people describing definite issues, but feel free to look at my Github page and use the scripts to make your own test build.

sure no problem i was doing this before you started :) hehe

About official TBS driver - better if you using CrazyCat build ;) because there always are latest TBS Driver official + many others ;)

https://bitbucket.org/CrazyCat/linux-tbs-drivers

Less work for you more  tuners support in one build ;)

I'm trying to keep things simple that's all.

Did you ever try

modprobe -r ddbridge
modprobe ddbridge

To stop the I2C errors?  Curious to know.

Also heard anything from Digital Devices re the bug report as there doesn't seem to be any activity on their github repo for quite some time...
