docker containers orphaned

Featured Replies

Hi all i'm new to unraid and so for love it but for the life of me I can't get most of the apps to work. i haven't been able to get any torrent app to function correctly at all either it installs then hits me with a user pass which is not whats listed as default through google search (rutorrent) or will launch but the directories are all fuggered (deluge) or simply claim to install and when i check the docker page are just simply not installed/listed(transmission)

but one of the biggest issues i'm having is no sabnzbd repository will install right all of them tell that it was an orphaned install that was installed years ago and i havent even had my server for more than 2 weeks.

i've been searching on my own but most of what im finding is extremely vague leaves me with way more questions then answers like just use this script with no explanation of how

any help is greatly appreciated

Delete your docker.img and start over. Where are you installing your docker.img?

Pick just one docker. I'm sure we can help you get it setup. Don't even try another until we say you have done it right.

Probably the biggest cause of orphaned images lately is a bug that was in 6.1.9.  An update to the webGUI was released a few days after 6.1.9 which fixed that particular problem.

Plugins - check for updates - install the Dynamix WebGUI update (3/5/16) if its not already installed

Great.  Without that update, any path which was mapped in a docker app that had a space in it would wind up giving an orphaned image.

Delete the img, and re-add your apps either through CA's previous apps or Docker tab add Container (and pick the user templates from the template drop down - ugh)
