unRaid reboot command

Featured Replies

Hello,

Running the latest ver. of unRaid with a handful of Dockers as well as OpenVPN and Plex as plugins.

Occasionally the GUI of unRaid is inaccessible and i am forced to either walk down to the server and force a powerdown or attempt a command line reboot.

In the past, the reboot or powerdown commands of /sbin/powerdown or /sbin/reboot worked.

Currently, the last few times this occurred, these commands are accepted, but no action is taking place.  Were the commands replaced with something new to issue a reboot via command line?

Thanks

Have you installed the Powerdown plugin?    The default Powerdown tends to hang if the GUI is unresponsive.    The plugin version is more robust and normally succeeds even when the GUI is not working.    If you have installed the plugin then to reboot use 'powerdown -r'.
