March 31, 201610 yr I'm setting up my first VM so bear with me ... one of the tickboxes relates to USB and AMC UPS. I DO run a UPS but am wondering why this wouldnt protect the whole running machine in any event so what is to be gained from ticking the box? Sorry if this is an obvious to most of you out there but not to me, yet ...
March 31, 201610 yr This is just a list of available USB devices you can pass through to your VM, so it has nothing to do with protecting anything. I assume you already set up your ups in the ups settings of unraid?

March 31, 201610 yr Why do it then? Whats the link between ups and vm? Practically you wouldn't. There is no link. Read again what saarg said. AFAIK what you're seeing shows up ANY USB device capable of being passed through on the off chance you want to pass it through to the VM.
