20GB is plenty for all but the most demanding apps as long as the app containers are correctly configured.  The commonest cause of running out of space in the docker image is having one or more apps to be dynamically creating files inside the image rather than having such locations correctly mapped to a location external to the containers.

Is there a place too see what use space in detail?

Settings - docker, for an overall usage of the image file
