Okay to remove docker container and image?

I just wanted to check since it would be horrible if my data got deleted. I created a new (different template) plex docker but it's pointing to the same appdata path. I want to remove the old docker and it asks if I'm sure and if I want to delete the container or the container and image. Is it okay to delete them both? No data loss?

    Yes, doing so will not delete anything outside of the Docker image. In other words, it won't delete any files on the cache drive.
