April 1, 201610 yr I moved from version 5 to version 6 and even though I have months of uptime on my box with version 5, version 6 freezes within a day or 2. It's a clean install with no plugins so it's not a compatibility problem. Where should I begin troubleshooting in terms of hardware that may have become incompatible with version 6?

April 2, 201610 yr Community Expert I would suggest that you open up your server and inspect the inside of the case for dust and dirt. Clean if necessary. Check that all fans are running. Verify that all fans in the back of the case are pulling air out. (You shouldn't have a high power GPU back there that needs additional cooling.) All fans in the front should be blowing air into the case over the drives. I realize that this server has been running for long time but a twenty-four memory test might also be in order. (Version 6 uses memory a bit different then version 5 does.)
