SOLVED: smtp stopped working

Hi,

 

Suddenly and after many years my tower stopped sending emails. Here is log for re-synch...

and here is log for previous month:

Mar 1 00:47:05 Tower sSMTP[27488]: SSL connection using AES128-SHA

Mar 1 00:47:08 Tower sSMTP[27488]: Sent mail for root@[email protected] (221 2.0.0 closing connection j1sm8140107ige.19 - gsmtp) uid=0 username=root outbytes=1717

 

Nothing was changed on my side. Maybe gmail?

changed my mail domain settings from "my_email@gmail" to "localhost"

 

everything is working again....

Same exact thing happened to me. I found this thread and changed my mail domain settings to "localhost" like you did, and i'm back in business! Thanks for the help
