Auto Select WebGUI and Auto Log In

Featured Replies

Hi,

I recently reinstalled (after trying our FlexRAID and SnapRAID) the trial unRAID 6.2 Beta. I would like to ask if I can configure the system to:

1. Auto select the WebGUI option, and

2. Auto Log In

once I turn ON the PC?

The reason for this is I don't need the system to be ON all the time. I want it to auto select the WebGUI and to Auto Log In as soon as I turn on the PC.

Btw, searched the forum and saw the:

cd /boot/unmenu

./uu

configuration for the older versions. Will this also work for 6.2?

Thank you very much.

UnMenu is an addon and has absolutely nothing to do with any of this.

The WebGUI is the web interface that you get by going to http://tower (or whatever you name your server) from any browser on your network.

I think you must be asking about the boot gui option in the recent betas. The release threads in the Announcement subforum explain enabling that option in the boot menu.

Not sure what you mean by Auto Log In. I only briefly tried boot gui. Does it make you login? Normally your password is blank unless you have set one and if you want to auto login I assume you don't need a password.
