Reading Cache Drive on Windows

Featured Replies

My cache drive appears to have failed in that unRaid is no longer seeing the drive.  When I mount the drive on my windows machine, I see the partition, but it does not mount in Windows 10 (64bit).  The disk is BTRFS. I've tried to access it with a couple tools, but while they see the drive, they all want me to format the partition (EXT2FSD).  At one point someone had mentioned load a linux distro.  Can anyone point me to instructions on how to do that?

BTRFS strikes again...

I've had no problems though... (knocks on wood) but it seems like BTRFS corruption issues are popping up more and more frequently.

It appears the drive is dead.  When I boot into BIOS, it does not see the drive.  I've never had an SSD fail, so don't know what the behavior should be like.  Interesting, that when I setup the drive as a USB Drive, I can see the partition in WIN 10 Disk Manager...  Thoughts?
