Something is Very Wrong Please Help! (300KB/s Parity check)

Featured Replies

So my monthly parity check started last night and than in the morning plex was not working so went to bring up the webui and nothing....couldnt get it to come back up so i hard reset the server. After that it came back up and started a parity check.

However the server is EXTREMELY slow and disk performance is absolutely garbage...server hardware is in my sig.

Elapsed time: 49 minutes

Current position: 5.95 GB (0.2 %)

Estimated speed: 300.3 KB/sec

Estimated finish: 115 days, 9 hours, 53 minutes

Trying to stop parity check crashes the server...i can still telnet but no GUI

Uninstalled file integrity and no more problem....sucks its a great plugin

Are your drives ReiserFS?

Try the latest version 2016.04.06a 2016.04.08, it limits the number of concurrent sessions based on your processor.

Another advice: exclude folders which change regularly, e.g. exclude the folder used by Plex.

no reiserfs all XFS, also i was on latest version and have pretty decent hardware that shouldn't get bogged down that easily.

I only have it on my pictures and documents share....for important data..everything else is excluded
