So I have a windows 10 VM that has functioned flawless for the past several months.  Today when I go to start the VM I can see the windows logo, then I get the blue screen and the bottom is says NTFS_File_system error and then it says it is going to reboot to fix it and it ends up in an endless loop.  Every once and a while the message changes to some other error...but I didnt catch it.

 

This VM is not critical...so I can just start a new one..but am curious is there anything else I can do to attempt  to repair this?

P.S.

 

I did get to a troubleshooting screen and selected the option to fix windows...but it returned a message that is was unsucessful...I then picked an option to reinstall and it said the drive that contained my install files was locked.
