Was checking my hardware and the tower accidentally fell over on to a hardwood floor. After it fell over I noticed that it was unresponsive can't ping by IP or domain name. Went to the console to reboot but I'm not able to input any commands. Tried ctrl-c several times and tried plugging the keyboard into different USB ports but still not able to input any commands. Is there anything I can do for a graceful shutdown or do I need to just do a hard power off?

you can try just hitting the power button.  But it probably won't work.

 

Force it off, open it up, reseat every card and memory, make very sure that you didn't break the cpu fan mount, and hope to hell that the drives are ok (should be if they weren't spinning at the time)

 

the webui probably fell out of the side of the case as it hit the floor...

check on the floor and see if you can find it.

And leave the tower on the floor, or at least find a more sturdy stable place for it to live so its not in danger of falling over again, blunt force is not good for hard drives let alone electronic equipment.
