What is the best method for VM performance?

 

Dedicate a SSD to a single ISO? Do a Cache Pool? Pass an entire physical device over and have the VM use it?

    and i am assuming the cache pool is the best method, with making the folder name .virtualmachines to prevent it from being pulled into the array at night...?

    Yes using the cache is best i think.You dont have to put .virtualmachines .

    Just create the share and use settings "cache only" then it will be ignored by mover
