April 11, 201610 yr Hi, i'm new to unraid.I have a i7 6700k ,gtx 960 4G ,16 G of RAM and Asus H170 Pro matherboard .When i try to run My El Capitan VM with Vnc ,it boots and works fine , but if I add the GTX 960 , the unraid screen turns black and the only way to view the VM is with the Mac OS vnc.The VM boots up with the gtx960 after installing the drivers and adding "nvda_dvr=1" in the config.plist file ,but nothing is shown in the display. The video card is in the first slot of the matherboard and Mac detects it As PCI Video NVidia x16 .Is there a way to make it work?
April 11, 201610 yr I struggled with this to no avail, let me know if you get it working, I have the same video card.

April 11, 201610 yr No that's not it, its figuring out how to pass the 960 through to the OSX virtual machine properly. I think other people on this forum have done it, but there are many differences in hardware between my setup, your setup and theres, so there are many variables.

April 11, 201610 yr I am running a Windows 10 VM passing my 960 through no problem using UnRaid 6.19, the issue is OSX and passing the 960 through, its has to be done a certain way, I just don't know how.

I ran a gtx 960 and passed it through to win 10, win 7, various Linux flavours so theres no problem with 960 and unraid. I never tried passing through to osx, as i had an old ati hd6450 which for me worked out the box with sound through hdmi aswell.
April 12, 201610 yr Author It works now!The problem was that unraid was using the GTX 960 ,I chenged a setting in the BIOS about the Integrated CPU Graphics and after starting the VM it shows up and works !but sometimes the graphic is glichy. Inviato dal mio A0001 utilizzando Tapatalk
