April 11, 201610 yr Does anyone have Windows 10 sharing an unRaid NFS drive? How to setup? I'm getting tired of the SMB silliness...
April 11, 201610 yr I haven't used it on Windows 10 but Windows supports NFS natively. It just needs to be enabled in the add/remove components section of the control panel. I'm not sure which version of NFS UnRAID uses however. I think Windows 10 might not support v4 or something like that. edit: uh, actually, now that I think about it, it may only be the enterprise version of Windows that supports NFS. If so, you'll just have to download a third party program.
April 11, 201610 yr Author Yep, confirmed that only the enterprise version has it built in... Recommendations on 3rd party apps to use?
April 11, 201610 yr I don't personally have any recommendation but someone else might. If you are savvy or adventurous enough, you could try this: http://www.citi.umich.edu/projects/nfsv4/windows/
April 11, 201610 yr Author Hey thanks for the referral. Unfortunately it looks like a dead project (Last code drop date: 6/12/2012).
