Hi I downloaded  Unraid 6.1  and got the trial key by email and registered , now the problem is I downloaded the 6.2 beta and put it on the flash drive but I lost the email with the trial key. How can I get the key back ? I am trying unraid out for my server and will buy the pro version  if I decide to keep it.  and last question how do I manage user permissions to shared folders as I did not find it? thanks regards

Did you reformat the flash drive or do the upgrade?  There should be a .key file on the flash drive within the config folder.

Barring that, just use a different flash drive and get the trial again.

Hi thank you for  your  reply . I formated the flash drive as that is what I thought I had to do.

Users -> Add User (or Settings -> Users -> Add User, depending on your Display preferences) to create a user/password combination. It works best if the user names and their passwords match those on your client computers. Then Shares -> share_name to make the individual user shares private or protected and specify users under AFP Security Settings and/or SMB Security Settings. It's easier to do than to explain. Turn on Dynamix help for more information.
