I would just like to know if the Dashboard System Status page is showing the CPU cores as physical and hyperthreaded core next to one another, if so would it be a good idea to change the CPU pinning to reflect this. For example my current CPU pinning is setup as follows.

6,7,8,9,10,11 assigned to my VM

0,1 Plex container

2 Sonaar

3 Sab

4,5 unRAID OS

 

Does it make more sense to use the physical core and its hyperthreaded core for the same Container, ie Plex using

0,6

Yes, the cores are now grouped appropriately so it would make sense for you to adjust your cpu pinning.

I actually changed the pinning and the performance has decreased. I assigned CPU pinning to the pairs of CPU's and isolated 6 from unRAID and then assigned those to my VM but its not good, stuttering in games and Youtube vids.
