Unraid windows server 2012 r2 spaces

Hi I  build a server and am testing os and storage solutions and am posting to get some opinions and maybe feedback.  Here are some results I am getting  so far

with unraid  doing nothing only uses 13 percent of my ram as in windows it uses 22 percent

as for storage performance

Unraid I used 2 wd drives 250GB and 1 seagate 700Gb with parity (sea gate as parity) When I started the array

it took nearly 4hrs  to complete the parity, then I transfer a 4gb file to a share I created and the write speed was around 25MB/S (Granted can use ssd caching) and 90MB/S reeds, used about 55 percent CPU load (when writing) removing a disk took about 55min with no data .

Windows server 2012r2  storage spaces

I used the same drives  that in unraid, set the storage space in parity  bam was done right away no 4 hours to build the parity  copies the same 4gb files and writes where 80MB/S reeds where 180MB/S (striping is why reads are faster) CPU load when writing just 8 percent  max load, I removed a disk it removed instantly I also tried unplugging a disk while a movie was playing and nicely the movie kept playing with no symptoms at all plugged  the disk back in and removed a different disk same thing movie keeps playing fine.

This is all on the same hardware

Intel G3020  3.0Ghz

4gb DDR3 ram

Asrock motheerboard

Samsung Evo 120gb ssd

So any thoughts why unraid uses more CPU in writing and takes 4 hours to create the parity when storage spaces finishes parity instantly and does not use all the CPU for writing ? and write speeds are better.
