For the last few weeks I have been having issue with the GUI crashing. What happens is that on several tabs nothing loads (Dashboard, Plugins, VMs...). I see the top navigation bar but everything below is just a blank page.

 

When clicking on the Docker tab I get the following message:

I am able to click on the shutdown option but the server actually never shuts down and I have to do unclean reboot via telnet. After rebooting everything works fine for several days before the issue reappears...

 

BTW when the problem is occurring everything besides the GUI is working fine. I can access all my unraid shares, also Dockers and VMs are running.

 

Any ideas?

Post Diagnostics.  Best guess at the moment is that either your flash drive is corrupted or the docker.img file is corrupted.

I'll get Diagnostics file next time this happens. It did crash today and I rebooted Unraid before posting here.

 

 

It looks like it might the flash drive. I see a lot of  Unraid kernel: FAT-fs (sda1): Directory bread(block 147479) failed messages in the log. Also when I navigate to the /flash share there is nothing there.

 

Is there a good way to test the usb stick? And if I have to replace it, will I be able to get a new registration key for it?
