very basic question about vdisk backup/snapshot

I'm fairly confident the answer is yes but better to ask than find out I'm wrong later.

 

If I copy the vidsk file I can restore the VM to that state in the future by just deleting the current vdisk and replacing it with the copy I made previously?

 

 

 

Also a basic question which I'm 99.9% certain of -- once the VM is running I can unmount the driver iso and original media install iso by just editing the XML file and there are no issues with this?
