WD Blue 6TB Preclear Info

Recommended Posts

Found some 6TB WD Blues at £160 a pop last week, thought I'd take the plunge seeing as Reds are still £200+... Here are my preclear results. I'm pleasantly surprised at their performance levels.

Sounds like the Blue's are a reasonable choice.    I still tend to be a fan of the Reds, but at that price difference you can buy 5 Blue's for the price of 4 Reds ... effectively providing a "free" spare for every 4 drives  :)

It is nice to have confirmation that the WDIDLE utility still works on them.
