April 21, 201610 yr Hello all, I am looking to back up my existing plex server , upgrade to plex pass, back up phone and other home stuff to the unraid server. i would like low power usage, hold ten drives, close to 500 bucks, no vm, i already have a 3tb,2tb,1tb drive for unit. still need a polarity drive , cache ,case,psu,ram,mb and cpu. If the main server goes down i want to be able to jump on this one and use , 2-3 transcoding . i am looking for recommendation on compatible hardware. is it possible?

April 26, 201610 yr That board is for socket 2011 v3 cpus. The cheap E5 2670s on ebay are v1 cpus. v1 and v2 cpus will work in the same socket 2011 boards. But, 2011 v3 boards are not compatible with v1 or v2 cpus.
