tuxbass
Haven't tested VMs yet (trying to figure out how to separate the M.2 drive for vm-s only), but checked my IOMMU groups, which as was expected, don't look too promising (note 4 groups have been color coded for better readability): 3 questions: a) Could any of these, theoretically speaking, be successfully passed through? b) Any reason why there isn't explicit 'device' for integrated graphics (I know, passthrough not supported)? Have seen other skylake builds that have that. Is it dependent on motherboard? c) Fact that 'PCI bridge' belongs to a group is a dealbreaker, correct? Quote Link to comment
JustJoshin
Have you tried enabling ACS_Override in vm->settings to split out devices into separate groups? Quote Link to comment
tuxbass
GPU passthrough appeared to work with this grouping (ACS override not enabled). Still wondering what are the implications of having the PCI bridge included in the group. Quote Link to comment
