southpaw5271
Some of my users are having issues with saving to their unraid shares from Excel's 'Save As' feature. File Explorer will prompt them for their password and then not accept the correct password. I have found that they can just click cancel on the login credential window and still save to their shares, but I would prefer this problem be fixed to avoid future complication or inconveniences. JonathanM
You can't be logged in to the same server as two users at once. Windows won't allow that. What is happening is that the computer has already logged in to the unraid machine with a different user, and you can't switch to another user without completely disconnecting any connections to the unraid machine. This is not an unraid defect, it's the way windows works. If you want, you can trick windows into thinking the unraid server is a different machine by using the IP address instead of the host name, and windows will allow you to log in with a second set of credentials that way. southpaw5271
I understand. Another reason to dislike Windows. Thank you for your help! Quote Link to comment
