Pandemic
I've got a NAS drive on my network as well as the unraid file server. I'd like to somehow automate a full backup of the NAS device every week or month. Ideally I'd have 2-3 backups and then the 4th would purge the first backup to keep the total backups at 2 or 3. Any way to do this? Quote Link to comment
gundamguy
If you can somehow mount the NAS drive over the network using unassigned devices then I think it could be accomplished with an rsync script. The real trick is somehow mounting that NAS drive. Quote Link to comment
tdallen
Does your NAS support apps? I.e. Crashplan? Quote Link to comment
Pandemic
not sure. I've got a DNS-321 running alt-f firmware. I'll look around but I don't think it supports anything right now. Still in BETA. Quote Link to comment
Rebel
Can you mount the NAS in unraid as a UD SMB mount then pass that over to crashplan running on the unraid server itself? https://lime-technology.com/forum/index.php?topic=45807.0 Quote Link to comment
