May 4, 201610 yr I just recently had this problem and I am unable to open any word document from my share. It's only work documents (doc, docx, rtf). Doesn't appear to be a permissions issue and I have tried to open and repair and it doesn't work. However, I can copy the file to my computer and open it with no issues. Any idea what's going on? Version: 6.1.9

May 4, 201610 yr You need to work out whether it's an unRAID issue or a Windows/Word issue. Things to check: Are all files in the share similarly affected? Can a different computer correctly access the files? Is unRAID reporting any errors? Check the filesystems.
May 5, 201610 yr Oh, and list your Windows version and Word version. This information is necessary for other to be able to look at the issue to see if they can replicate your problem.
May 6, 201610 yr Author So I've isolated it to my computer, probably something to do with Windows 10 (it's been nothing but problems for me since I "upgraded"). Win10 64 Office 365 version 15.0.4815.1001
May 6, 201610 yr Have a check in this post: http://lime-technology.com/forum/index.php?topic=44118.msg434516#msg434516 Windows 10 and SMB have been a real problem as MS changed SMB for Windows 10 and the Linux Samba people are playing catchup.
