I own an Asrock z87 extreme 4.

 

I have installed in it 2 Dell Perc H310 (on the 2 PCI 3.0 slots) and they work just fine.

 

I need to buy another Dell Perc H310 and will install it on the 3d PCI 3.0 slot.

I have read that if i install 3 PCI cards they will work on 4x/4x/4x. (z87 limitation)

 

Will the PCI speed be sufficient for all 24 Hard Drives (Western Digital Green. Red, 2tb- 8tb, installed on a Lian Li 8000)..

(i also own an Adaptec 71605h that is totally incompatible with this motherboard :) )...

    In my tests it's capable of ~180MB/s with 8 disks using a PCIe gen2 x4 slot, so you should be fine.
