Audio Glitches from Onboard audio Windows VM

i have a gigabyte x99p-SLI Motherboard and when passingthrough the onboard audo controller i get random audio glitching when i play a song inside windwos 10 VM. It doesnt matter what i use to play the song, always glitches. i have f2 bios for this motherboard but im not sure if updating the bios will help. Audio glitches seem to get worse when playing a song and navigating the unraid wegui. any ides on what i can try to solve this problem.

    Can someone explain  cpu frequency scaling governor. Mine is set to power save and i believe that might be my issue with audio pops and glitches. Is there a way to set it to performance
