Cache drive back to XFS

Featured Replies

Guys,

Silly mistake - assigned a second cache drive and hit start rather than restart.

Of course now Unraid wants to make the cache drive BTRFS but it is actually formatted XFS and the options drop now is no longer available and it is 'unmountable' or whatever.

(Unassigned the second cache drive!)

Manually mounting the cache drive via mount -t xfs /dev/sdb1 /mnt/cache is ok.

Cheers.

If you didn't format the pool you can go back:

-unassign 2nd cache disk

-set cache slots to 1

-check that cache filesystem is set to xfs or auto

-start array and your cache disk will be back

Thanks - I had forgot to set slots back to 1!
