any idea why?

There appears to be a container constantly restarting, see if you can find which one based on the up times.

You do/. A share exists named "disks".  Likely being created via a docker container, rclone etc due to misconfiguration.

ls /mnt/user/disks

May offer some glimpses into what is creating it.

Well I thought I got rid of that, but I guess I didn't. It /was/ rclone, due to you're right a misconfig, but I fixed it and thought it removed the folder, but it didn't.

Thanks for catching that. I removed it and we're good now. So sorry to waste your time with that oversight lol

Hi,

Hope someone can assist me. I am seeing the following error:

/var/log is getting full (currently 100 % used)

If I check the log I think it's due to this:

Try closing all browser tabs (and devices) open to your server along with rebooting it.   This will likely be mitigated on the next release of the OS

Will do. Thanks @Squid

Recently, I have had a problem with the Fix Common Problems app. When I try to run it, all I get is the "Scanning..."pop-up, but the progress never increments. The only way to get rid of the pop-up is by pressing the Esc key.

Got that when the plugin got updated last time. Also, the check didn't run the scheduled time. Reboot solved it.

Unfortunately, I have rebooted a couple of times, and it still isn't working for me.

I guess I don't know what the hell I'm doing! Got this message:

"Default docker appdata location is not a cache-only share"

Seems self-explanatory. But when I try to "fix" the problem, I cannot figure out how to do it. My Appdata is located at:

/mnt/user/appdata/

I have ONE cache drive. A 1TB NAND SATA SSD.

I have ZERO idea what to do when it says the Appdata location should "reference a share that is set to be either Use Cache: Prefer or Use Cache: Only." WHERE do I set this? I don't see it in settings/docker. Do I have to set aside ("waste") a single drive in the array to put the Appdata on?

I don't remember getting this error until the last few weeks though my server has been running constantly since 2021. Why would it just start giving me this error? I don't recall changing anything but maybe I somehow screwed things up. I would appreciate any help.

Shares>appdata

 Thank you.

I have that setting to: screenshot-192_168_0_200-2024_06_25-17_07_25.thumb.png.b2a4b6199ade458e965f0a3c2ad11ec5.png

although I have no idea how to reset it if I need to. I tried stopping the array and looking for a way but couldn't find it. And according to the setting above, it appears that I DO have the share set to the cache (first) before it is copied to the array. SO I am confused why I am getting this message.

Here are the settings when I click on the Appdata share:

screenshot-192_168_0_200-2024_06_25-17_05_37.thumb.png.a11c69e9790071068a62592552702da6.png

So, again .. when the post that directed me here states:

"This is a performance only error.  If you have a cache pool, it is highly recommended that the appdata location (Settings - Docker - Default Appdata path) reference a share that is set to be either Use Cache: Prefer or Use Cache: Only."

it seems that I DO have it set thusly. And is why I am so confused why I am getting this error now. Maybe I'm just looking in the wrong places for the proper setting?

No. You would need to set Mover Action to Array->Cache. Just click the little triangle to change it and then click Apply. No need to stop the array. This will be equivalent to Cache Prefer. If you want Cache Only you need to also set Secondary Storage to None.

Awesome.

I now have it set to:

screenshot-192_168_0_200-2024_06_25-18_47_30.thumb.png.539d31a1990153b47a697b9d43ca5190.png

I re-ran FCP and "No Errors" for the first time in weeks.

FWIW .. this setting of "Array ---> Cache" seems backwards to me and is probably why I couldn't figure it out. In my (obviously, WRONG) thinking, it should be first "Cache" THEN to "Array." This is why I had such trouble with it.

Thank you!

The object of the setting is not to have appdata moved from cache at all but if any has been moved to the array in the past it will now be moved back to the cache if space permits.

Odd... I just had to reboot, and this time when it came up, the Fix Common Problems App started working.

I just received the error that my Disk 5 has read errors. The plugin says if the drive hasn't been disabled (which it hasn't), then these errors were most likely corrected by Unraid. SMART shows no issues at all; the drive appears to be in perfect health though obviously I am going to monitor it.

When I run the plugin again, the error continues to pop up. Is there a way for me to reset this error or is there still something wrong? I don't want to select ignore the error it as if it reoccurs I want to be notified, but I can't tell why its still popping up now.

Hey guys, since the new version i receive this message now from fix common problems:
Jul 5 04:47:30 Tower root: Fix Common Problems: Error: Old version of SSD Trim Schedule

According to the changes i guess this has something to do with this:
Added: Check for incompatible cron file created by Dynamix SSD Trim plugin

But i dont have that plugin installed. How am i supposed to fix this issue now?

Same, just started getting this July 5.

Edit because I can't read clearly. In Fix Common Problems it says to disable and re-enable to fix. Did this and re-ran Fix Common Problems and it's not reporting it anymore.

I am not smart.

Also getting this new SSS Trim schedule error.

I’ve disabled and re-enabled and still have the error. Even tried changing the time.

Any help would be appreciated, thank you
