How to find Tower IP address?

Featured Replies

My unRAID has been working (and still is) flawlessly for months. However the IP address must have changed since my favorites page won't load . I need to add a new HD but can't get the browser to work.  Been so long I can't remember anything and feel like a newbie.  :o  Seems like you could type Tower something (Tower goes to www.tower.com) in the address line but can't remember.

On the system console, log in as "root" (no password needed unless you added one)

and then type

ifconfig eth0

Ya should be able to use http://tower

That didn't do it. Isn't there a way to obtain the IP #?

If I hit enter again I get this page.

Joe L. told you how to find it above.  If that does not work you can try logging into your router and finding it in there.  I know my D-link shows all the connected computers that are on my network and the IP address associated with them.

I am going to assume that you are on a Mac also, based on the screen shot and you might want to look at this section in the wiki.  Follow the link and it will help to get the http://tower working on the Mac
