May 11, 201610 yr I saw this post: https://lime-technology.com/forum/index.php?topic=39774.0 but those steps don't seem to work for me. I have three drives in my pool. The one I want to remove is the original (labeled 'cache' in the web interface). When I remove it, keep it set to 3 and start the array a rebalance doesn't happen and I cannot force it because that is done from the settings of the drive labeled 'cache' which I have just removed. Any guidance here?
May 11, 201610 yr Community Expert You have to physically disconnect the disk you want to remove, trying to start the array with it just unassigned will result in a unmountable cache pool. After it is disconnected and you start the array the pool should autobalance to the 2 remaining disks.
