Goofed updating webgui. Now 404 not found

Featured Replies

Hey there. I updated the dynamix webgui plugin from the plugin page but closed the little pop-up before it was finished or did something weird. Now getting 404 not found at the server ip.

How can I simply manually reinstall the webgui? Server reboot through CLI did not remedy.

All my docker containers are still starting, running, and responsive.

Thanks!

if a reboot didn't fix it, delete the file config/plugins/dynamix.plg on the flash drive and then reboot.  Then check for updates and reinstall

Thanks! I haven't reinstalled but gui is back.

Can you explain why that worked? What was that .plg doing?

Still can't update to v2016.04.02 without the 404 error. Thank you for the help!

Don't know why it won't update without giving a 404.  just tried it on my 6.1.9 and it worked fine.

the .plg is the webUI plugin.  deleting it reverts the UI back to the stock version that comes with unRaid.

I'd maybe try again tomorrow (if its a bad download), and if it still fails post diagnostics after it fails again

from the command prompt

diagnostics

the file will be saved somewhere on your flash drive
