Recommendation for PCIe x16 slot

I have an Asus P8H77 mobo with only a single PCIe x16 slot available for a sata controller.  Are there any recommendations for a decent card that will support up to 4 drives? 

 

I've been looking at the SYBA SI-PEX40064 but the issues with the Marvell chipset in numerous posts has me concerned.

Maybe a little more pricey but I just got one of these and so far its great.

If you only need 4 ports the Adaptec 1430sa is still a good option, works well with unRAID and can be found cheap on ebay.

I would still go with a Dell H310 Perc or IBM M1015 even though they allows up to 8 drives.  They can be purchased on ebay fairly cheaply and allow for future expansion.

So started digging through some old pc parts I found in my crawl space that I forgot about after I moved (gotta love suprises) and I have some type of SAS/Sata controller card.  Its Dell but not sure what it is.  Might be this.  The chip says LSISAS1068 B0 and the model is UCP-51.

 

Any idea if this card will work?

Not sure if it will work without flashing to IT mode, but note that since its a 1068, then the maximum size hard drive it will support will be 2TB
