niietzshe
Hey All. I have a few dockers/VMss that require access to the same USB hardware. If I unplug the device (for part of it's functionality), when I plug it in again it's at a different port. This also seems to happen when switching dockers, but I haven't confirmed that yet. So what I'd like to do is have unraid find the device and link it too /dev/myUSB or something like that, so even if it updates the containers/VMs will still be pointing at the correct hardware. Possible in UnRaid? This is usually done with udev, but I don't think it's possible that way. Thanks Christian Quote Link to comment
BRiT
Yes its possible through custom udev rules, similar to the recent posts about getting consistent ETH Network names. Quote Link to comment
