Disk is very sick, replace it.

Could you tell me (us) which data is most important for diagnosing the state of a drive?

I get some "reallocated sector ct is 1" messages on a non critical disk and would like to guess if it will work for some time to come.

Current pending sectors is one of the most important, should always be 0, reallocated sectors were replaced by the disks firmware with spare ones, if pending sectors are 0 disk should be ok, but it's never a good sign, as there's a higher probability of getting more in the near future, some users replace any disk with realocated sectors, others keep using them for a long time, at least keep monitoring the value, if it stays stable disk should be ok, you can also do an extended SMART test to confirm disk is really ok.

thanks Johnnie , I've already filled my RMA with WD.

I change it right away.

Thank you for your elaborate answer! Will keep checking the disk.
