Plex docker container - cannot bind to address

Featured Replies

Hi folks!

First off, thanks for any help you can provide, much appreciated.

Just setting up a new unRAID 6 and have installed the Limetech Plex docker. However, it looks like it can't start (can't reach the webgui).

I see an error in the log..

Not sure if it is related, but any other docker I've installed, e.g. sickrage etc. ends up showing as orphaned too?

Thanks again!

Alex.

Also there are dedicated support threads for the containers so try to use those rather than posting new topics.  The authors are more likely to see your post in the appropriate thread.

Have a read of this.

And the thread you're looking for is here.

Third time's a charm! :)

Organised approach, but not very newbie (or returning unraider at least) friendly. I'm sure I'll survive...

Anyway, I actually had a more general issue too in that all apps seem to appear orphaned...

Thanks.

Yeah, have you installed Community Applications?  It makes finding support threads and installing docker containers much easier..

Yeah, didn't notice it had that info - trying to multi task, working late and setting this up.

Limetech should send a summary of where to get support when purchasing a licence - no doubt would save you repeating yourself so much, must get annoying! :)

Thanks.

What I'd do is completely remove all containers, delete your appdata share.  Create a new appdata share on your cache drive and make sure it's set to cache only.  Also, how big is your docker.img and where is it located?

Tried deleting the appdata share and then recreating it set to cache only but no joy.

Docker .img is 10gb and on the cache drive.

Post a screenshot of your docker page.  It's showing the address is already in use. And in the top right is a switch for basic/advanced.  Click the tab so it shows the advanced.

Not sure if it is related, but any other docker I've installed, e.g. sickrage etc. ends up showing as orphaned too?

You might want to go to plugins, check for updates and install a webGUI update if its available.  Nothing to do with the bind address problem, but it could be the orphaned images problem

Thanks - will try that and post back later.

Just to add, I've added other containers, e.g. SickRage, and have the same issue...so not unique to the limetech Plex docker...

Something is not quite right here and I don't know what to suggest.  Can you post your diagnostics (Settings/Diagnostics on the webui)

  • Author

Tis weird!

Setting, diagnostics - cant see any such option?

Hi folks, any thoughts? Lost the media system as no dockers are accessible with this new setup (migrated from FlexRAID)....?

I also can't see any of the log files from within the webgui which is a bit weird...

Hope someone has a genius idea!

Thanks!

Sorted - shell in a box plugin was the cause.

Thanks all for the input!
