Drive has gone down

Featured Replies

Hi all!

Just booted up my unraid server, which i use for backing up of video projects, and it's showing that one of the drives has been disabled. My knowledge of unraid is limited so i'm having trouble troubleshooting this issue so I've attached the diagnostics zip file.

The only other information is that currently I am copying around 150gb off the server.

Thanks in advance!

Sorry for a noob question. If I replace this drive with a 2tb HDD will the server automatically rebuild from the parity?

Thanks

Yes, just assign the new disk and start array to begin rebuild.

Most of your disks have gone past 50C, some >55C, disk2 reached 61C, which is over the limit, you may want to check your cooling, best to keep them <45C, ignore if these are old maximums.

Ahh well spotted. I shall look into the cooling of my system.

Thanks for the advice and help Johnnie!  :)
