Trouble moving file from Unraid to Externhard drive (windows)

I could really use some help, ive been pulling my hair out trying to figure out my issue.  I have files that i keep on my unraid box, movies, work files etc.  When i try to move them over to a external hard drive on windows using teracopy they are all empty.  Or only a few move over.  All the folders are there but none of the folders.  Ive tried countless drives and they all do the same thing.  Have also tried multiple windows computer with the same result.  any help would be amazing.  thanks.
