May 28, 201610 yr I have the Cougar GX 1050w power supply: http://cougargaming.com/products/power_supplies/cougar_gx_v3.html It only has one 8 pin pcie with a 4+4 daisy chained off it (that won't reach to the other cpu and I'm guessing it would be too much current for both anyway). I know you can get standard 12v molex to 8 pin pci-e connectors. Does one exist for the 8 pin, 12v cpu connector? I have been searching around on ebay but keep running into pci-e variant. Alternatively is it possible to get a molex to 4 pin cpu and use two of them?
May 28, 201610 yr You can get an extension like this: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16812200124 PSU is dual rail, for unRAID single rail is preferred, but it has 60A per rail so depending on many HDDs you have it should be OK.

Isn't that just an 8pin extension? Or you are saying I can use that off the daisy chained 4+4 pin and it should be powerful enough to run two cpus? I thought the manual said something about the rating of the cable at 160w? I'm running 2 e5-2670 xeon's that are 115w each.
May 28, 201610 yr If the cable can't handle both CPUs use an adapter like this: http://www.frozencpu.com/products/16694/cab-1007/Akasa_PCI-E_6-Pin_to_ATX12V_EPS_8-Pin_Adapter_Cable_AK-CB051.html
