May 28, 201610 yr Community Expert SMART for disk 2 looks bad, for parity looks ok, do you remeber how/when it became invalid? before or after disk 2 failed? Can you explain the best you can how you arrived at this state?
May 28, 201610 yr Author parity disk invalid first and i post here, this is the thread http://lime-technology.com/forum/index.php?topic=48760.msg469154#msg469154 so yesterday after i watched a movie that located inside - disk 2 become in this status. i replaced the parity disk and add another new disk (disk 5) that not in use right now. what i need to do with all the 1-6 problems? thanks!
May 28, 201610 yr Community Expert You should have asked before you did anything and as soon as you had any problem. You can't recover disk2 without the original parity, and you can't start the array with a new parity and a disabled disk. Try putting the original parity back in and then give us a screenshot and a new diagnostic. Might be best if you also set the array to not autostart before you boot up again.

May 28, 201610 yr Community Expert So you replaced the parity disk after disk2 failed? I see. I just clicked on his other thread. That was 3 weeks ago.
May 28, 201610 yr Author yes, i it was 3 weeks ago, i didn't have time to handle it unfortantly. also here the diagnostic with the previous parity it say that the parity disk is wrong and want the replaced one (strange...because i didn't configure it yet..didnt succeed.) homenas-diagnostics-20160528-1613.zip homenas-diagnostics-20160528-1613.zip
May 28, 201610 yr Community Expert Without a valid parity your options are limited. Also your "new" disk5 has a SMART failing now attribute, if I understood correctly it has not data yet. If you have free space you can do a new config, re-assign disks 1 to 4, don't assign parity and don't use your current disk5, try and copy data from disk2 to another disk(s), after it's done replace/remove disk2, do another new config and this time assign parity. Disk3 has many UDMA_CRC errors, these could be old errors but you should monitor it and replace SATA cable if it continues to increase: Device Model: WDC WD1001FALS-00J7B0 Serial Number: WD-WMATV1318749 199 UDMA_CRC_Error_Count 0x0032 200 200 000 Old_age Always - 11725
May 28, 201610 yr Author didn't understand.. yes disk5 is new without data parity is problem 1 disk 2 is problem 2, and i think the data inside deleted. because i config that Tv series will be 2 Disks, one of them is disk 2, and now their is a lot of missing files in the share disks. also i can't start array, its say "Too many wrong and/or missing disks!" the parity disk want me to change to the HD that i replaced - the new one.
May 28, 201610 yr Community Expert Go to Tools - New Config. Turn on the Help. Read johnnie's post again carefully then ask more questions.
May 28, 201610 yr Author thanks what do you mean "re-assign disks 1 to 4" if i change the "order" of the disks? the data will not delete? i wait for your answer before i re-assign the the disks.

New Config will make you assign your disks again, hence re-assign. You don't have to change the order. New Config never does anything to any of your disks except parity, and since you won't be assigning parity, not even that. DO NOT assign any disk to the parity slot. Just disk1 - disk4 to the slot they are already in.

May 28, 201610 yr Community Expert Do you know how to use mc (Midnight Commander) from telnet / console?
May 29, 201610 yr Community Expert In order to copy data from disk2 to another disk you will have to be able to access the disks, not the user shares. You can turn on disk shares in Global Share Settings. You must be very careful to move or copy only between disks or only between user shares. Mixing disks and user shares when moving or copying can result in data loss unless you know exactly what you are doing. After you have finished copying data from disk2 to another disk I recommend turning off disk shares.
