I have installed cpu 1 (waiting for additional 8 pin power cable before I can install cpu 2) along with 4 ECC dimms in the four blue colour coded dimms slots. Can anybody with this board help diagnose the diagnostics? I'm a little lost looking through the diagnostics in this book.

 

I tried checking out the interactive diagnostics here for the S2600CP motherboard and E5-2600 v2 processor but the number on the board does not appear to line up with the interactive codes.

 

Is 3 the left mode green led on the board?

Found the BIOS Default jumper and followed the procedure in the manual for resetting the bios. I can now get the display to come on and can get into the bios. It's detecting cpu 1 (which is currently the only one installed) and the 32 gigs of ram installed on cpu 1. Progress!!

I picked this board up from Natex.us and curious on a couple of things:

 

1.  What are you bios settings

2.  What are you using for a case

3.  What are you using for cpu fans

4.  What are you using for PSU.

 

 

I've got the same board and I'm using pretty much the default BIOS settings (making sure all virtualization options are enabled).

 

Case is a Norco 24 bay unit (RPC-4224) Great case.

 

I used two old 92mm fans on top of the passive HS that came with the board. Will upgrade if my temps get out of hand (not even close yet)
