June 1, 201610 yr Hello, I have some problem with shares on unraid with space left on the drives. My specs are: 1 x 3TB = PARITY 3 x 3TB = DATA 1 x 256GB = CACHE Share settings: Name: games Allocation method: Most-Free Minimum free space: 60GB Split level: Automatically split only the Top two directory.... Included disk: Disk1, Disk3 Exclude disk: Disk2 Use cache disk: No .... Disk1 is full and there's no space left but the Disk3 has 317GB of free space left. The torrent client stop working because there's no space left. I don't know what happen. Please anyone can tell me if my settings for the share are correct?, How can I solve this?. Thanks in advanced.
June 1, 201610 yr You should never set both Include and Exclude. Split level takes precedence over Allocation method and Minimum free. Once it starts writing a file to a specific drive it will continue to write it to that drive, and once a folder is created on a specific drive, if the split level says additional files for that folder should be together it will continue to write to that drive.

Thank you, my problem was solved. I set only include disks and split level is set "automatically split as required". And now has no problem with left space.
